One year ago today, I resigned from my position at General Motors.
I had nothing lined up – not one job.
I’d just had my daughter and she was barely two months old.
My family thought I was crazy.
My friends thought I was crazy.
Heck, at one point, even I thought I was crazy.
But I had faith.
I knew I would reap what I’d sown into people for years.
Within hours of resigning, I had multiple interviews for new positions.
I interviewed with several companies for almost 3 weeks straight.
I was looking for a company that would allow me to fulfill my purpose, passion and creative perfection.
That company is General RV Center.
I started working there exactly one month after resigning from GM.
I’ve never been more fulfilled or at peace with any position than the one I currently hold.
Moral of the story – everything doesn’t need to line up perfectly in order for you to take a leap of faith.
Take the leap of faith and then watch how everything lines perfectly for you.
